BCA: a new social compact?

In 2013 I assisted the Business Council of Australia (BCA) in the development of its Action Plan for Enduring Prosperity through conducting an extensive round of consultations with community, business and government stakeholders. The purpose of the consultations was to invite a contest of its ideas, refine aspects of the plan, and to identify common aspirations and areas of potential conflict or disagreement. These objectives were achieved, and provide a foundation for ongoing work with many of the people and organisations consulted. Here were some early outcomes and some lessons from the process.
